This page explains how to delete your SAMB account from inside the app and what happens to your data.

Delete your account inside the app

  • Open SAMB and go to Settings (or Account).
  • Tap Delete Account.
  • Confirm your choice.

Deletion happens immediately. If you’re asked to sign in again, it’s for security (recent login required).

What data is deleted

  • Your authentication record (email/username) is stored in Firebase Authentication.
  • Any app data tied only to your authentication record (if applicable).

No confirmation email is sent, but the app shows a confirmation state after deletion.

What may remain temporarily

  • System logs or encrypted backups maintained by our infrastructure providers may persist for a limited period for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. These are automatically purged on a rolling schedule (typically within 90 days) and are not used to recreate your account.

Data safety & encryption

  • All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
  • We do not sell personal data.
  • If your child uses the app, we follow Google Play Families Policy requirements. No advertising IDs are used for children.

Delete data without deleting your account

  • If the app includes options like “Clear history” or “Reset progress,” you can use them without deleting the entire account. Otherwise, contact us and we’ll help.
